STEVE CSORGO, W2QJO
BACK IN MY VERY EARLY YEARS OF HAMMING, I REMEMBER HAVING AN ON THE AIR QSO WITH STEVE. HIS WAS THE GENERATION WHICH GAVE US LOCAL AMATEUR LEGENDS ED RASER, EARL VAN HORN, FRANK BIJASIK, RAY WHITLEY, JIM SINCLAIR, AND I'M SORRY FOLKS, I WILL DEPEND ON SOME OF MY LOCAL OLDTIMERS LIKE W2AEI, W2FDE, K2SNK, AND OTHER DVRA GUYS TO HELP ME WITH OTHERS.
wTom, Thanks for working with my sister and showing my Dad at the hobby he loved so much. I'm collecting some great stuff I hope to give you from our Dad. Here are a few calsign's that you or other older Hams will remember as the ones who made ham Radio in central NJ. W2FBC, W2PZS, W2RGU, W2RHX, W2RIR, W2RSV, W2RYB, W2SVV, W2WOA, W2YGU, W3RCW. Some may remember Bill Ford from Jobestown or Norris Parker of Bordentown, sorry I can't remember their callsign's. Well enough for now, look forward to meeting you soon and showing you all the great stuff I'm finding as I go through old boxes. Steve E Csorgo Jr
I am the Hamilton Township Historian at the Hamilton Township Public Library Local History Collection. I served in "G-2;" the U.S. Army Security Agency(ASA) with a "Top Secret Codeword" ("Crypto")military clearance. I have been married 60 years in April of 2014 to Judy Britton, my class of 1951 Hamilton High school sweetheart. We have 3 children and 9 grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. I have been a member of the amateur radio community since 1975 with the call sign WA2RVU. If the good Lord wills it, I will be logging local history when I reach the golden age of 100!
